Today marks the 100th birthday of the incredible Betty White

'Thank you for being a friend 1922-2021': If you Google the eight-time Emmy winner - who died on New Year's Eve from a cerebrovascular accident six days after suffering a stroke - rose petals fall on the screen

Today marks the 100th birthday of the incredible, hilarious, wise and genuinely huge-hearted animal welfare advocate (among MANY other great things), Betty White.

She tirelessly devoted her life to saving innocent lives, advocating for them and championing causes that have gone on to save millions of domestic and wild animals across the globe.

With compassion, empathy, hope as her core values, Betty left an impact on what I personally am so passionate about and have dedicated my life to.

She paved the way for young women, such as myself, as a leader and a mentor in more ways than one. Today, let’s all follow more closely in her footsteps and honor her in a way that she earned & deserves.

We know if she were here still today, she would have some cheeky, yet heartfelt response to all of this love you are all giving back to the one cause that fully enveloped her heart and soul.

Betty White honored on her heavenly 100th birthday by Carol Burnett, Morgan Freeman, Jennifer Garner, and more celebs

Six-time Emmy winner Carol Burnett honored Betty’s memory by streaming a marathon of her episodes of The Carol Burnett Show on Shout Factory all day Monday.

A message from Betty’s Assistant,

Hello Everyone! It’s Kiersten. Betty’s Assistant. On this special day, I wanted to share this photo of Betty. It was taken on 12/20/21. I believe it’s one of the last photos of her. She was radiant and beautiful and as happy as ever. Thanks to all of you who are doing kind things today and every day to make the world a better place

Party of Five alum Jennifer Love Hewitt worked with the Illinois-born, Hollywood-raised icon three times and wrote: 'I hope heaven is throwing a huge party'

Throughout her impressive 80-year career, the national treasure played memorable regular roles in CBS’ The Mary Tyler Moore Show, NBC’s The Golden Girls, and TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland.

Betty’s last acting gigs were voicing tiger teething ring Bitey White in Toy Story 4 as well as Sarah Vanderwhoozie in Trouble in 2019.

White last acted onscreen portraying Ms. Wilson in two episodes of Freeform sitcom Young & Hungry in 2017.
