The Call | Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show 2022

Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar are set to share the stage on February 13 … which, understandably, has a ton of people hyped.

Pepsi just added to the anticipation by releasing a nearly 4-minute Hollywood film-style clip dubbed the “official trailer” … featuring all the performers getting “the call” and preparing to hit up L.A. for the show.

Who is playing Super Bowl halftime show 2022?

The popular beverage giant on Thursday is releasing a nearly three-minute-trailer trailer that celebrates five musical titans — Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg and Dr.  Dre — who are slated to perform during Pepsi’s halftime show at Super Bowl LVI.

Pepsi will call attention to that trailer, which will be available for viewing online, with teaser ads set to pop up during TV networks’ coverage of NFL playoff games over the next week. Just as it did last year, however, Pepsi won’t run any Super Bowl ads for its namesake product, though other parts of parent PepsiCo, like Frito-Lay snacks, will appear during the event.

The clip features Dr. Dre, Snoop, Eminem, Blige and Lamar and their greatest hits. It’s inspired by their iconic music videos and showcases the impact that the Fab Five have had on pop culture over the last two decades.

“Now that we are just weeks away from the most anticipated Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show performance of all time, we’re bringing fans closer to the magic of what will certainly be a colossal moment in pop culture history,” Todd Kaplan, VP of Marketing at Pepsi said in a statement.
