Taliban control of Bagram prison, all prisoners released

Taliban, who have reached around the Afghan capital Kabul, have taken control of the Bagram military prison at Bagram Airbase, 25km north of Kabul.
The Taliban have taken control of the prison and released prisoners, most of them Taliban fighters.

It should be noted that Bagram Air Base, which was the largest US military base in Afghanistan, is now controlled by the Taliban.
The prison was handed over to the Afghan Armed Forces on July 1 this year after the United States decided to withdraw its troops from Afghanistan earlier this year.
