Shahid Afridi to replace Sarfraz as captain of Quetta Gladiators

News of Shahid Afridi’s joining Quetta Gladiators started circulating. Afridi is also likely to be made the captain of the team in place of Sarfraz Ahmed.

In the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), there are reports that Boom Boom Shahid Afridi has left Multan Sultan and signed a contract with Quetta Gladiators.

Quetta Gladiators owner Nadeem Omar has revealed that Shahid Afridi could be made captain in place of Sarfraz Ahmed if Sarfraz himself wants to resign.

Nadeem Omar said that Shahid Afridi has been the captain of Rawlakot, the winner of KPL. He knows the skill of fighting the team. Afridi is also a part of the Gladiators in the Sri Lankan League.

It should be noted that Shahid Afridi has represented Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings and Multan Sultan in PSL.
