Famous Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal has tested positive for corona virus.

According to foreign media reports, he had participated in an exhibition tournament in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), after which he had his corona virus tested on arrival in Spain.

Rafael Nadal posted a message on the micro-blogging site Twitter in which he said that he has gone through some unpleasant situations recently but he is sure that he will gradually recover.

“Hi all. I wanted to announce that on my return home after playing the Abu Dhabi tournament, I have tested positive for Covid in the PCR test that was performed on me when I arrived in Spain,” the 20-time Grand Slam champion wrote on Twitter.

“I am having some unpleasant moments but I hope that I will improve little by little. I am now homebound and have reported the result to those who have been in contact with me.”

Raphael also said that he had quarantined himself at home, while recently informing people he had met that his corona virus test was positive.

He also said that he would keep the fans informed about future tournaments.
