Pak-Turkish production companies announce to make a film on the life of ‘Salahuddin Ayubi’

For the first time since the popularity of Turkish dramas in Pakistan, Turkish and Pakistani drama and film production companies have announced a drama series on the life of the great figure of the Islamic world, Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi.

In this regard, the signing ceremony of the agreement will be held on August 24 in the Turkish historical and cultural city of Istanbul.

The deal is being struck between Pakistan’s Ansari & Shah Films and Turkey’s Emery Konak’s Ekli Films.

Ahead of the event, Emily Konak, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and producer of Ekli Films, said in a statement that she was happy to co-produce a drama series with Pakistan. Pakistan is our brotherly and friendly country and the people of Pakistan take keen interest in Turkish dramas and for this reason an agreement is being reached to establish a cultural bridge between the two countries in which Pakistani actors will also participate.

Although he is aware of the difficulties encountered in portraying the great personality of Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi who left his mark on history and the world.

Kashif Ansari, producer of Ansari Films, has said that this will be a very important day not only in the history of Pakistan but also in the history of the world, but also for the Islamic world.

Scholars, think tanks and politicians from Pakistan and Turkey will come together to shed light on the life of a great figure in the Islamic world in the form of a play. 

The drama series will have a positive impact on the changing global context as Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi is highly regarded in the Islamic world as well as in the Christian world and around the world.

This drama series will be a beacon not only for the present generations but also for the generations to come.

The series, starring Turkish and Pakistani actors, will be shot in Turkey and 3 seasons of the play are planned.

Shooting for the play is set to begin soon and be aired on TV channels around the world by early next year.

It is the wish and initiative of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan to highlight the positive side of the Islamic world so that Islamophobia can be eradicated from the world.

Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi was the founder of the Ayubi Empire and he defeated the Crusaders and re-liberated Jerusalem in 1187, nine decades later.

His Abyssinian empire ruled Egypt, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, the Hijaz, and Diyarbakir. He was known for his bravery, generosity, good morals, generosity, and tolerance.
