Noor Muqaddam Murder Case: Bail granted to 6 accused including owner of therapy works

Significant progress has been made in the case of Noor Muqaddam murder. Bail has been granted to 6 accused including the owner of the designated therapy works in the case.

 Bail of the accused has been granted in lieu of bail bonds of Rs.

Bail has been granted to six employees, including Therapy Works CEO Tahir Zahoor.

Those granted bail include Wameek Riaz, Dilip Kumar, Samar Abbas, Abdul Haq and Amjad Mahmood.

Noor Muqaddam murder case verdict reserved

Earlier, the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad had reserved its verdict after hearing the arguments of all the lawyers in the Noor Muqadam murder case, in which the judicial remand of four accused, including the parents of accused Zahir Jaffer, was extended.

In the District and Sessions Court, Judicial Magistrate Ata Rabbani heard the bail pleas of Doctor, CEO of Therapy Works, and five other accused in the Noor Muqaddam murder case. Noor Khaqad’s lawyer Shah Khawar also appeared in the court.

Arguments of Barrister Zafarullah, lawyer of Therapy Works CEO Tahir Zahoor

Barrister Zafarullah, counsel for Therapy Works CEO Tahir Zahoor, appeared in the court and said that my accused was not named in the FIR but he has been arrested. My client has a therapy work and treats people.

Barrister Zafarullah said that Tahir Zahoor’s employees broke down the door and entered the house. Accused Zahir Jaffar killed Noor Muqaddam, then told his parents. The parents called the therapy workers to go there and see their son.

Barrister Zafarullah said that the accused (my client) was accused of trying to conceal evidence, while my client Tahir Zahoor was not present at the scene at the time of the incident. He is 73 years old. It is not a charge for the police to keep them in jail, my clients are suffering from diabetes, heart disease and kidney disease.

Barrister Zafarullah, counsel for Dr Tahir Zahoor, said that there was no evidence against his client. One of the people sent to the therapy works was also injured. Amjad’s lawyer Shehzad Qureshi also gave arguments before the court.

Accused Amjad’s lawyer said that Amjad’s medical report has been presented in court. He was the best witness in the case. Accused Zahir Zakir Jaffer stabbed Amjad and injured him. How could Amjad be injured if we destroyed the evidence.

Defendant’s lawyer Shehzad Qureshi said that we called the police, while 18 days after the incident we were made the accused, our role will come to light during the investigation, it is requested that bail be granted.

Arguments of Shah Khawar, lawyer of Noor Muqaddam

Plaintiff’s counsel Shah Khawar argued before the court that call record and CCTV video record also came to light during the interrogation.

Lawyer Shah Khawar said that the CEO of Therapy Works had contacted the father of the accused Zahir Jaffer. On the day of the incident, the father of the accused Zahir Jaffar called the owner of the therapy works. Aya, he did not challenge, there is no justification to file an application for arrest after bail of therapy works.

The plaintiff’s lawyer said that when the employees of the therapy works reached the spot, Amjad was injured. Amjad was injured but he did not report the incident to the police.

Lawyer Shah Khawar argued that the therapy workers were being treated as if they were a rehabilitation center. If Amjad was discharged from the hospital, his surgery report would not be clear.

Public Prosecutor’s Arguments

The public prosecutor said that Zakir Jaffer, the father of Zahir Jaffer, knew that the murder was taking place. The police rushed to the spot at the request of a neighbor. No one told the police on the call. He did not tell the police.

After concluding the arguments of the parties, the court reserved the verdict in the Noor murder case and extended the judicial remand of four accused, including the parents of accused Zahir Jaffer, till September 6.
