New Zealand cricket team arrives in Pakistan after 18 years

ISLAMABAD: The New Zealand cricket team has arrived in Pakistan after 18 years to play ODI and T20 series.

According to Maria Memon News, the New Zealand cricket team reached Islamabad Airport from Dhaka by a special plane, from where they were sent to a private hotel under tight security.

According to the schedule, the New Zealand team will spend one day in room isolation. While staying at the hotel, Kiwi players and officials will have a Quaid test. In case of negative reports, they will be allowed to practice.

The three matches in the ODI series between the two teams will be played on September 17, 19 and 21 at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, while the T20 series will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

It should be noted that New Zealand last visited Pakistan in 2003. Since then, Pakistan has hosted New Zealand three times, but all these matches were played in the United Arab Emirates.
