Jason Momoa Reportedly In Talks To Star In Fast And Furious 10

Jason Momoa is allegedly negotiating a main role in the upcoming 10th installment of the Fast And Furious franchise.

Jason Momoa, who currently stars as Aquaman in Warner Bros.’ DC Comics movie universe, is in talks to star in Fast & Furious 10 with reports indicating he will star as one of the film’s main villains.

Development on the tenth installment in the franchise was announced in late 2020 with the reveal that it and Fast and Furious 11 would act as the conclusion of the mainline series. Justin Lin, who helmed four sequels including F9: The Fate of the Furious and is set to return to helm both installments, is set to direct a script from Chris Morgan, who has written every core installment since Tokyo Drift.

Dwayne joined the series for the 2011 feature Fast Five and remained on board through the 2017 movie The Fate Of The Furious, the eighth in the chronology.

Despite The Rock’s absence, F9 still came together. Recently, Vin Diesel made an emotional post about The Rock on Instagram and begged him to return to the fold.

Vin, 54, playfully referred to Dwayne, 49, as his “little brother” and even invoked their late co-star Paul Walker who had died tragically in a car crash eight years before.

Fast & Furious 10 races into theaters on May 19, 2023. The Fast Saga, which features interviews with Brewster, Kang, Lin, and Mirren.

The Rock slammed his former co-star, saying: ‘Vin’s recent public post was an example of his manipulation. I didn’t like that he brought up his children in the post, as well as Paul Walker’s death. Leave them out of it.’ 

However he had warm words for the franchise, noting: ‘My goal all along was to end my amazing journey with this incredible Fast And Furious franchise with gratitude and grace. It’s unfortunate that this public dialogue has muddied the waters.’ 

He is said to have parked the RV at the home a friend whose home is located near Jason’s marital home with Lisa, where she lives with the children.
