Iftikhar Ahmad Usmani also known as Iftikhar Iffi

A Pakistani actor, filmmaker, columnist, playwright, and poet. He wrote the script of the drama Naagin (Geo Kahani) which was widely watched in Pakistan and the UK.

Iftikhar Ahmad Usmani was born in Lahore and spent his childhood in SantNagr, Islampura. He got his primary education from Moon Light School and Islamia Junior School then pass his middle standard middle examinations from N.D. Islamia High School and passed matriculation from Govt Islamia High School DewSmaj Road Lahore and Intermediate from M.A.O College Lahore. After getting a diploma (of two years) from Goethe Institute Gulberg in drama he passed an Audition in supervision of Madam Taufique at PTV Lahore Center in 1995.

He worked in dramas as follows: Talluk, Qabza, Anokhi, Main mar gai Shokat ali, Khuda gawah, Dilli kay bankay, Aag, Muhabbat haar muhabbat jeet, Faseel-e- Jaan se agay, Khalida ki walida kami reh gayee, Farz and jarar rizvi’s film Son of Pakistan.

He also worked in “Pyar ka passport” which was the first ever Urdu Radio soap of BBC. He taught one year diploma of drama (three lessons a week) at Shkir Ali museum as In-charge from 2003 to 2005 under the project of Abson Academy of Nervy and Pakistan national council of arts.

He has written the following dramas for TV.
