If US extends the withdrawal deadline, there will be a backlash, Taliban spokesman said
Taliban spokesman Sohail Shaheen said that if the United States extended the August 31 deadline for the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, there would be a backlash. The Taliban would not accept an extension in the date of withdrawal of foreign troops.
In an interview with British media, Taliban spokesman Sohail Shaheen said that an extension of the withdrawal of foreign troops in Afghanistan would mean an extension of the occupation of Afghanistan, which would create a situation of mutual mistrust and reaction.
Sohail Shaheen said that Afghans fleeing Afghanistan want to go to Western countries not to save their lives but because of poverty, they are doing economic migration.
