FBI investigating 11 sightings along Appalachian Trail, says hiker ’99.9 per certain’ he saw Brian Laundrie

The hiker who told 9-11 he was almost 100 per cent sure that he encountered Brian Laundrie near the North Carolina-Tennessee border has been interviewed by the FBI, according to The Daily Mail.

Dennis Davis told the outlet that he was interviewed by investigators on Wednesday afternoon, adding that FBI agents told him they were following up on 11 sightings from locals in the same area.

‘They are definitely taking my information seriously,’ he said.

In the 9-11 call, Davis said the man believed to be Laundrie was driving a white Ford truck, flashing his lights and waiving for him to slow down.

He told the operator the man was “talking wild” asking for directions to California, where he had to go see a girlfriend who loved him.

“He was acting funny. And I wasn’t sure about what he looked like. And then I went and parked and pulled up the photographs of him and I’m 99.9 per cent sure that was him,” Davis said.
