Bilawal Bhutto suggested the government keep in touch with the Taliban

Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari suggested the government to contact the Taliban.

In a media briefing with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi, Bilawal Bhutto said that the government should not compromise on terrorism, the National Action Plan should be implemented immediately.

He said that if the government does not pay attention to law and order, the situation could worsen, immediate policy should be formulated on the issue of Afghanistan and the parliament should be taken into confidence.

The PPP chairman further said that Prime Minister Imran Khan takes U-turns on every issue again and again, we cannot tolerate U-turns at this time.

He said that the security of C-Pak should be reviewed and the Taliban should be contacted, the government should ensure that the situation in Afghanistan does not affect Pakistan.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also said that if peace is not established in Afghanistan, Afghan refugees may arrive, if the government does not pay attention to law and order, the situation may deteriorate.

“We must ensure the safety of the lives and property of the citizens of Afghanistan. We urge all parties to take care of the month of Muharram,” he said.

The PPP chairman said that terrorists should not be allowed to flourish in Pakistan, the National Action Plan should be fully implemented, we should prepare ourselves.

He said that we are closely monitoring the situation and a peaceful solution should be found through dialogue with the misguided sections in Pakistan.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the parliament should be taken on board on the issue of Afghanistan, there are definitely threats to the security of Pakistan, the situation in Afghanistan has not been clarified yet.

He said that Pakistan must make its policy urgent, the people of Pakistan do not support terrorism, those who commit terrorism in the name of Islam should be rejected.

The PPP chairman added that terrorist organizations targeted Pakistani citizens, politicians, journalists and Pakistani forces.

He said that there is no confusion between us and the army on terrorist organizations in the country, if there is confusion, it is in Imran Khan, the demands of a representative government in Afghanistan are coming to the fore.
