Iranian news agency claims that Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has begun considering resigning from the presidency.

According to the Iranian News Agency, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani may resign from the presidency for a few weeks ceasefire.

According to Indian media reports, Ashraf Ghani will go abroad with his family after resigning.

On the other hand, a recorded message from Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to the Afghan people has come to light stating that Afghanistan is in grave danger of instability.

“I assure the nation that I will prevent further instability. Reactivating the Afghan security and defense forces is a priority,” he said.

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has also said that speedy consultations are underway to end the war, adding that he would not allow massacres and destruction of public property in Afghanistan.
